    and all facing the centre of the square. The boy who won the toss throws the ball to the next boy to him on his right side. If that boy lets the ball fall he is christened D which is the first letter of "Donkey". He must then get the ball and throw it to the next boy on his right. If this boy lets it fall he is also christened D but if he catches it he just throws it to the next boy. The game continues in this manner until all six letters of "Donkey" have been gained by a player. This player is the "Donkey" and the game is finished.
