    All was ready and the robbers were approaching the mine when one of the monks saw them and gave the command to sink the silver pig rather than let their enemy get it. So the silver pig was sunk on the left bank of the channel opposite the Abbey. St. Fechin put a curse on the mines that they should never work again until the pig should be found. Several attempts have been made to work the mine but without success.
    There is a guardian watching the treasure known as the, "White Monk" who has been seen by several men who have been at the spot where the treasure is hidden. But there is no hope of
