  1. The games that were played long ago were football hurling and gaelic. There were fourteen men in each side when they wanted to pick out the teams they put them into a group and a captain would pick them out one by one.
    The match was played out side Coolooney town it was Ballina against Stone Hall Ballina won they scored five goals and Stone Hall scored three goals
    The players were dressed in green red blue purple and white and the referee was dressed in black and the type a ball was used was a leather one and there were goal-posts used too.
