  1. Mr Thomas Kivlehan in Lower Rosseo has Elf Stones. Water is put into a jug and a few Elf Stones and with them eight pence. Then the water is stirred up, and a few drops of it is put into a bottle which is given to the cow to drink and the rest of it is rubbed on the sick beasts back from the horns to the tail.
    Lower Rooses Old School.
This old school was situated in Mr Mc Morrow's field. Mr Neary was the Master. He was a small dark man with a hump on his back and he was lame. The school was an old cow stable with the floor covered with straw.
