  1. Cures.
    (a) Whooping Cough:-
    1 Take ferret's leavings or walk under a young foal.
    2. Boil a mag-pie feathers and all and drink the soup.
    3. Ask a man riding on a white horse what cure he has and whatever he says to take one should take it.
    4. To put the child under a brier that is growing with each end in the ground.
    (b) Ring-Worm:-
    1 The seventh son or daughter follow-ing in succession has the cure of the ring worm provided the worm is placed in the child's hand when born.
    (c) Foul Mouth:-
    A Child that never saw his father has the cure of the foul mouth. He blows his breath on the person and he is cured.
    Toothache:-
    The four legs of a frog boiled in water and then to drink the soup.
