  1. The Three Flags of Lough Easkey.
    In our town land Masshill there are many places of interest.
    This is a story my grandfather told me.
    On the shore of Lough Easkey which lies along the main road from Tubbercurry to Dromore West there are three big, flat flags standing upright.
    Those flags are situated to the west side of the lake about thirty yards from Rochford’s house.
    There is but one letter on each flags, “T” on the first, “F” on the second but no one can make out what letter is on the third flag.
    It is supposed that the devil himself who wrote the letters and on that
