  2. One night as my two uncles were coming from Listowel they saw a funeral.
    It was about 12 o'clock and the night was very dark and they were terribly afraid.
    They were not gone far outside Listowel when they heard a noise, but they took no notice of it. After a while a dog came out in front of them and began to bark. One of them got afraid but the other said not to be getting queer that it was a neighbour's dog. The dog disappeared and they saw her soon again, and she disappeared and they saw her a third time.
