    In olden times a man named Jack Moran started to build a new house. The first day he started a very respectable man came the way, and told him not to build the house there. But Moran took no notice. The next day the same man came and told him not to build the house there, that it was the path of the good people. He worked away and finished his house. When he went to live in it, it was haunted. Every night when they were in bed anyone couldn't sleep with all the noise around the house. At last they had to leave the house and live in an out-
