  1. About forty years ago Tom McGovern, Mick Mc(Calley) Cauley and John Kennedy said they would go out on Garadice lake for a sail on bonfire night (23rd July)
They started about eleven o'clock at night.
Immediately after they started a water horse followed the boat.
About an hour after (after) daylight they returned again.
When they arrived on the strand they heard a splash in the water and the water horse then disappeared.
When they anchored the board they heard a moan or cry.
They went to where the cry came from and they saw a little woman, she had a white car on her head and she had a book in her hand.
She was the smallest little creature ever anyone saw.
When she saw them approaching she began to cry. She looked at them and then vanished. They lost sight of her and they never saw her again.
