Three men who knew nothing but Irish went to a fair to learn English.

    (continued from previous page)
When the three men were going home in the evening they saw a dead man along the road. They stood there for a while. A policeman came and asked the first man who killed the man and he said, ''us three.'' Then he said to the second man, ''what did you kill this man for?'' and he said, ''for fifty pounds.'' Then he said to the third man, ''you will get jail for it,'' and he said ''we well deserve it.''
