    Once upon a time there was a green man.

    (continued from previous page)

    It was not long till the white man heard of another king who was very sick. He went as far as where the king was, and did as the green man did. When the head was a while in the pot the white man did not know what to do and got afraid.
    Just then the green man came in, and the white man was overjoyed to see him. He took the head out of the pot and put it on the king and he was all right again. Having done this the two men went out and parted and never saw each other again.
