    one he composed was a great comic. It consisted of an invitation of a so called candidate to a tea-party.
    In preparation for the guest, he purchased an article in every shop in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim. When the time arrived for the guest to come, he failed to turn up and Scollan was disappointed.
    John McDonald live in the townland of Cloonboney, Dromod. He was born at the same address and he was buried at Cloonmorris Cemetery. One of this best poems was Lord Leitrim.
    Pat Cullen lived in the townland of Furnace, Dromod, and he came from one of the Eastern Counties he was buried in Annaduff Cemetery. One of his best poems was the "Dawn of Freedom".
    William Scollan, and J McDonald live on farms, and Pat Cullen was a labourer. William
