  1. In our house we have a dash churn. We once had a wheel churn. the wheel is worked on a little axle on the inside and twisted with a handle from the outside. The little iron axle was destroying the milk, so that we had to get back to the old dash churn again. There is also a barrel churn next best to the dash churn.
    It is twisted by a handle on the outside. In my home we churn twice a week in Summer and once
