And Menlough leading on the cause,
of our own dear native land.
    (3)
Oh! once you were a gentle-man,
with your four steel-greys on hand.
The music sound the word went round,
    comes Walter proud and grand.
But now you see the various scenes
    of misery and fools.
    Instead of high bred racers,
    you were only driving mules.
But now you know the mule will die,
    and what will Walter do.
Sell to the Land - Commissioners
and give it all to you.
Ahunting now you dare not go
    nor any other fool.
So care your job and mind it well,
or you'll surely vex the mule.
