    There are several fairy forts in the district Weirs Sheas Relihans and firmfott. There are three forts in mountcoal one in Knockreagh one in Lisahane one in Ballydouhig. They are all in view of one another. There is a fence of earth and stone around each one, there is an entrance into each one of them. There is a stair case getting down to some of them, people often ventured
