    Football
    There was a football match in Glenamaddy about a month ago between Glenamaddy and Castlerea.
    The game began at three o'clock and lasted until four.
    There were fifteen playing on each side
    Mr. Raftery was the captain of the Glenamaddy team and Mr Cooke was the captain of the Castlerea team.
    The game was played in the Turlough :- east of Glenamaddy.
    Mick Higgins was the best player of the Glenamaddy team and Rider was the best of the Castlerea team
