Once there lived a young man who was not afraid of anything.

    (continued from previous page)
life he never saw or heard of a brave man and to reward him the fine house and farm. The man asked the fellow to marry his daughter but the fellow said he would stay two nights in the one house until he knew what fear was. The older man told him to come over to his dwelling house for a while.
When he got him over he put the young fellow into a little thatched house.
He closed the windows and doors. Then he set the house on fire. The young fellow started to shout to get out. The other man asked him why he shouted and the fellow said he was afraid of getting burned so then he knew what fear was. He then married the man’s daughter and he lived happy ever after.
