There is sweat house in townland of Alteen. It is built of stones & mud roof as well as walls. It is round in shape. Roof is now covered with grass and moss. It is built in a very sheltered spot alongside a hedge and a stream flowing past it.
An average person in height could stand inside it, but little door as entrance so small & low that a person would need to crawl on hands & feet to get in.
    There is no window.
