    Twenty four hours. It is then removed and burned. The second poultice is then applied care being taken, that it is put on at the same hour as the first was applied. It is left on the affected part for twenty-fours hours, then removed and burned. The third poultice is applied on the third day in the same way. After this a bread poultice is applied and the thorn is sure to be extracted after this treatment.
    Mondays and Thursdays are the special days for making these poultices and they must be made before sunset.
    Thorn:- A fox's tongue placed on the part in which a thorn is will remove the thorn.
