  2. I used to make spinny jinneys by cutting a spool and putting a piece of stick in the hole tapered to a fine point. This would revolve a long time when started off with a spin. The finer the point on the smoother the surface the longer it would spin. Whoever could make it spin the longest was the winner.

  3. Work begun on Friday will be completed very early or very late. Work begun on Saturday will always be finished early. Anything sown on Good Friday will grow.
    Sunday is a good day to move to a new home. "Sundays flittin many a long day sittin".
