    Cupóg Sráide is a cure for a burn of a nettle
    Neanntóg - This weed is boiled and given to turkies. Long ago the people eat nettles
    Glórán - This was also given to pigs long ago
    Thistles were also given to pigs to fatten them
    Brisglán - Long ago during the famine the people ate the "Brisglans." They also used baráiste as greens and ate them

    Duilleóg Báidte - This weed is found in bogholes if people were drowning in a bog-hole where those leaves are it would drag them down in the water

    Rideóg - Is a cure for a bad stomach
    Meachain na gCaoirigh - This is a cure for a bad cold
    Stochtan is given to pigs for food
    Cruibín Sionnach is a cure for a bad stomach also It is a herb that grows in bad land.
    Long ago the people gave furze to horses before they sold them. Clover is good for cattle and cows.
    Water grass is a cure for a cold
    Flax is a cure for a pain in your side
