    if a person went there between the Consecration and the Elevation of the Mass that they could get the treasure because that the cock and cat go to Mass at that time.
    It is supposed to be hidden by the fairies but it is not known for what purpose it was hidden there. Some people say that a worm and magpie are minding it.
    There is another treasure hidden in a hill called "lagar na mBrón"
    People say that if a person tilled it he would be sorry for doing so. About fifty years ago a man tilled it. As he was passing the hill his horses took fright and fell into a sand pit. Immediately both stood up unhurt and came out of the sand pit.
