- (continued from previous page)taking the lid off the churn, but the man told her to continue churning. No she said I am making a churn for the last year and I got no butter any time. Then the little man went over to the table and started writing down. Then he went out to the door and shouted out, "are you coming with the butter." He came in again and went writing down "are you coming with the butter". By this time the woman was not able to stir the dash in the churn. She took the lid off and looked in it and it was half full. Then the man went out again and said "Are you coming with the butter", and he saw a little woman coming far away. He came in and said "She is coming now." The woman took the lid off again and it was full this time. The little wwoman was at the door when the man opened it. He let her in and a bag of butter on her back. This is the woman that had your butter gone all year he said. And big was the hump that was on you coming. I will put three times as much of a hump on you going, striking her on the back with the paper(continues on next page)
