  1. On shrove Tuesday pancakes are taken for supper. On easter Sunday morning some people get up at sun rise to see the sun dance, and two or three eggs are taken at each meal. There is a lot of superstition connected with May day some people dont light a fire in the kitchen until after twelve o'clock, others would not sweep the floor, and others would not give away milk. It is said if a person milks another pearsons cow secretly on May morning they would take the butter, to prevent this happening supersticious
