  2. Jack Mulkere, Castletown is one of the best-known violinists in Galway. He won many prizes at Feiseanna, and often broadcasted as a member of the "Aughrim Slopes" Ceilidhe Band.
    Some of their tunes are on the Gramophone Records also.
    Jack is now about forty and is married in Crusheen (Clare).
