    1) Left over milk of a ferret is good for the whooping cough.
    2) A cure for a sore ear is - onions roasted on a grid-iron and put them between the folds of a cloth. Then put it to the sore.
    3) The cure for a sore throat is - salt browned on a pan.
    4) A cure for a sore eye is - to procure a gooseberry thorn and stab it on the sore.
    5) A cure for a wart is to get a match and rub it on the wart until it disappears.

    Fuair Sighle Ní Giollaruidhe ará 13 bliadhna d'aois an méid seo ón a shean mháthair ará 76 bliadhna d'aois. Comm(...) Sighle i gCluain (...) agus comm(...) a sean mháthair i Sean Bhaile Mhóir. Tá a sean mháthair ón a a posadh.
    1) If a person had a wart, to get a black snail and rub it on it.
    2) A fasting spit nine mornings in succession.
    3) To rub the head of a match on it.
    4) If you meet a stone with a hole in it and water in it after rain to rub it on it.
    5) A cure for rash is the water between two properties and three streams meeting together to wash the sore with the water.
