  1. In the district where I live there are many forges. The forge nearest to us is the forge in Kilgevrin. It is situated in the side of the road and the owner of it is Michael McCormac. The National School is not far from it and the river Clare run at at the right side of it. The owners of the other forges are :- Silke, Murray, Kelly, Godvin, and Costello. The forge that Silke has is in Polluturick and it is built on the side of the road. Murray's forge is in Tullinday, and it is also built on the side of the road. Kelly's forge is in Balgaddy, Godvin's in Gardenfield, Costello in Brooklawn.
