  1. If a person meets a black cat when he is going on a journey he is supposed to have good luck for the day.
    If a person breaks a mirror he will have bad luck for seven years.
    If a person sees a magpie when he is going on a journey it is a sign that he will have good luck and if he sees two its a sign that he will have good bad luck.
    If a person is churning and a neighbour comes in he will have to help with the churning or if he goes out without doing so he will take the butter with him. Some people puts a coal under the churn in case the fairies would take the butter.
