    made locally they are bought in a shop. When the farmer is preparing to sow the potatoes. He first picks the seed potatoes and brings them into the barn. Then then woman of the house cuts the potatoes into slits. She leaves a good eye in every slit. They are then sown in the drills and there is a foot left between each drill slit. In early Summer there are wed and they are then moulded. In late Summer they are sprayed. In the month of October the potatoes are dug. Most of the potatoes are dug with a spade. The children pick the potatoes. The small potatoes are separated from the big ones. The big potatoes are storied in a pit for
