   Signs of the weather from the birds and animals. 1. When the crows flock together in the fields it is the sign of rain. 2. When we hear the curfews whistling by day it is the sign of rain. 3. When the ass stands with its back to the wall it is the sign of rain. 4. When the goat comes down from the top of the mountain it is the sign of a storm. 5. When we see the dog eating grass it is the sign of rain. 6. When the cat turns its back to the fire it is the sign of rain. 7. If the cock crows late at night it is the sign of fine weather.
