    There was a house in Moneydarragh in which a woman lived alone.

    There was a house in Moneydarragh in which a woman lived alone.
    One night as her husband was out on business at a late house a poor woman came in looking for lodging right after her came her husband and son and they all stopped for the night. They started cooking meat and made sandwiches and played music all night. They gave the woman of the house some of the food to eat but she did not eat it. She went out to milk the cows and she threw it away. When she came in the fairy woman asked her did she eat it and she said she did. She told her not to tell anybody that they were there that night and she would never want money. As they were leaving they left her some money on the table so when her husband came home and saw
