  1. A Story About an Old Woman.
    Wan time there wis an aul woman and an aul man living at the fit o'Binion Hill it is situated about three miles from St. Johnston. The aul man wis eighty years of age an the aul woman wis ninety years of age.
    They lived in an aul hoose made o'sods an'stones. The aul woman went oot overy day tay gether sticks.
    There wis an aul wal beside her hoose an'wan day when she wis oot gethering sticks she seen a bito'a stick lying beside the wal an' she went ower tay get the stick, an' she fell into the wal an' she wis drooned.
    When the aul man came oot tay see whar she wis he seen her lying in the wal an he wisney lang tay he got her oot o' the wal an she wis deed. Then he run tay tell awe her freens that she had been drooned in the wal beside the hoose. Then they come
