    There are still old ruins of houses in the townland. There is one very near our own house. My father told me that he and his three brothers lived there. His brother Patrick Mac Menamin left this country to go to America about twenty nine years ago. He is still living in it yet.
    There are also two other people who left this townland and went to America also. The names are Margaret and Sarah McCormack. They are also alive yet.
    I heard most of this folklore from – John Mac Menamin, Belalt.
