  2. On St. Stephen's Day each year a Challenge Caman match took place between the men of Fanad North and Fanad South. The match took place on a large flat piece of ground at Ballymastocker Bay. This match lasted sometimes practically all day. Very often disturbances took place at the matches and sometimes the matches ended in a free fight.
There is still living an old man named Stewart who is said to have been one of the best Caman players of his time.
