  1. The Bught Road is a road leading from Ramelton in the Co. Donegal towards the East side. On leaving Ramelton we pass the Creamery on the left hand side, and further on we pass Doctor Boyle's and the Dispensary. About one hundred yards further on the Bught Road starts, and it is about one mile in length.
The name Bught means a Bay or a Bight. It gets its name because there is an inlet of Lough Swilly which comes in at that place. It is a beautiful place when the tide is full.
