    Buying & Selling (continued)
    The market was held in Glenties. The people sold their potatoes corn eggs and butter in the market. They had to cross the bay in a boat as there was no road across as now. They used to have to wait for the tides. Glenties is about eight miles from here.
    No goods were sold on Sunday near the Chapel. There was no buying on Sunday. There were no pedlars going through the country.
