    in one of the factories and two hundred in the other.
    The workers come from the neighbouring districts. Most of them stay in the town and come on Saturday night and go back again on Monday morning. Others of them cycle home every night. Most of the thread is got in Ireland.
    I know of two spinning- wheels in this parish but they are not used now as the old people who knew to work them are dead.
