would give Jamey and his mother so much money as he would make them comfortable for lie, and all was right till Jamey was going home. Then the young lady started crying that she must get home to (life) live with Jamie, because only for him they would never have seen her. So they all agreed and they sent down a very grand car for the old woman to Fanad, and sent her word to give the goat and hers to some of the neighbours and Jamey and the young lady got married and the old gentleman gave them all the money and houses he owned. There are some of them living about Dublin till this day. That’s the story as Daddy told it to me, and his father told it to him.
