the dobhar-cu’s approach. The dobhar-cu seeing the cloak and thinking it was the woman gave a spring into the air and came down headforemost on the rock. It struck the rock with such force that its head split in two and it never moved. The woman when she heard the crash came from her hiding place, and when she saw the dead body of the dobhar-cu she gave thanks to God of her deliverance from a terrible death.
