    Fairy Forts
    There is a fairy ring in the townland of Kilmashogue. It is in the Ring Field. Fairies were seen dancing around in a ring in the field. Every night between 11'o' and 12'o'clock. Lights are seen flashing through the field. People say there is a fort under the ring in the middle of the field.

  2. Local Forges
    There is a forge in the townland of Whitechurch. It is owned by Mrs Butler. It is not being used since Mr Butler died. The roof is made of slates. There is one fireplace in it. There are heaps of old horse-shoes in the forge. There is one bellows and more iron articles in it which Mr Butler used when he was
