In this same field Mr. Kirwan's workmen were knocking a ditch and they found a flat stone with writing in ogham on it. They also found a holy water font and a chalice and a gold ring in it. It is believed that those things were hidden in the penal days. This field was never tilled. In a field near it the men were weeding and they found a diamond.
