  1. The name of my district is Toomore, in the parish of Toomore in the barony of Gallen and in the country of Mayo. there are twenty-four houses in it, eleven slated and thirteen thatched ones. There are eight people over seventy years in my village and they speak English. Mrs B McGann, Mr Tom Laffey, Mr Pat Thornton, Mrs Anne Maloney, Mrs Mary Anne Devaney, Mrs Mary Murphy, Mrs Biddy McGann and Mr Michael Maloney. They all have the same address.
