    "Well" said Mick "you wont get it." And he went outside and hunted the ghost away. The following night he heard the same tapping and he did the same thing. The next night Mick was listening for the tapping but he didn't hear any. The when he was going to bed he heard rattling behind him. He looked 'round and saw the ghost taking his sheet out of the press where Mick had hid it. Mick ran over but he too late for the ghost put on the sheet and as Mick came foreward he said some words and Mick changed into a number of small pieces. Then the ghost put the pieces in a box and brought it away. Soon afterwards a family came to live in the house. But they could not sleep because every night at twelve o clock they would hear plates breaking and men fighting. But when they would go down to the kitchen they would not see anything. They put up with this for about two weeks and every night they heard the same noises. So they had to leave. Three or four family's came to the house after them but they all heard the plates breaking and the men fighting and so the house had to be deserted.
    When ever anybody passed by that house at night they would hear men scolding each other and the
