  2. This disease is first noticeable by a large swelling.
    The cure to be effective must be applied during the same moon period as that in which disease is contracted.
    Two different herbs and unsalted butter mixed with turpentine and applied to the swelling will cure. Robin-run-the-hedge is frequently used as one of the herbs.
