  1. Boxes are played in the following way. You get a copy and you put a number of dots on it. It is played round the fire in winter time. Two is the number to play.
    They get two pencils. Before they start they toss a penny to see who will get the first draw. Whoever will get the toss of the penny will play first. Then they begin to play and they play on turns. You want to be very careful for fear your enemy
