  1. There is a fairy fort on the Castlebar Road about one mile from the town of Westport.
    It is a high hill with a mound on the top.
    People caught a disease called “Faer Gort” there on that spot. A man was found dead near that place named Hanley and it was aid that he died of hungar that is about twenty seven years ago.
    He was found dead standing against a wall and there is a pile of stones there yet called Hanley’s stones and no one ever touched them.
