    to get a flower called Lungwort and boil it in three pints of water and drink it before the sunrise. She told me that this flower was of a dark colour and used to grow in wet fields. She told me that when people used to have bad stomachs they used to get a plant called Meadowsweet which grows in the meadows. She told me the way they used it was to wash it and chop it up and throw a grain of salt on it and eat it.
    She told me that when people used to have bad Lungs they used to get a plant called Marshmallow Root. This is the way they used it. They used to put 4 ozs of the root in five pints of water to boil and then when boiled they used to strain the juice
