If you wash your face in the dew before sun-rise on May morning you will be good-looking for the year.
If you pull seven bits of water-cress on November night in a mearing drain between two villages and place it under your pillow, you will dream of the man you will get married to.
If you have boils wash them in a mearing drain before sunrise between three villages, and they will get better.
