- There are three forges in this parish, Pat Henry's in Lugmore, Tom Gorman's in Quarrfield and John PO. Feehily's in Bunninadden.
Their father and grandfather's were smiths before them.
Tom Gorman's forge is situated on the public road from Charlestown to Ballymote and there is a stream running quite near it.
Pat Henry's forge is situated about fifty yards from the public road. There is a felt roof on it(continues on next page)- Collector
