    that the cause of her cows not giving her milk was that when she gave out the milk on New Year's Day. She often heard that it was not right to give milk away on that day. The old woman had no milk for herself now and the neighbours used to give her some. The people in her village told her that is was the lady, who went to her for milk on New Year's Day who had taken away the good of the milk.
